Sorry it has been so long, but I have been majorly busy! We moved and little did I know what a Job that was after living in a home for 14 years and accumulating 14 years of stuff!
Needless to say I got rid of tons of STUFF
I wanted to share this with you though and I am back to normal so I promise it won't be months between posts.
This thanksgiving I gave these little mice to each of my children's families. It is a little twist on Elf on the Shelf. I wanted to make something that my grandkids could participate in everyday and I wanted to baste it more on service, (since isn't this what we are celebrating this month?)
So, I made up Mouse in the House!
I didn't make the mouse, to make it easier I found a little mouse at Target and them made up the printables to go along with what I was trying to accomplish.
Starting tomorrow, this mouse will hide somewhere in the house and he will have a little tag attached to him that will tell my grandchildren what they could do for the day. Because there are several grandkids in a family, I gave them the instructions that when they find him, they need to leave him where they found him so everyone in the family can find him.
The kids will find him each day and he will have some good advice on serving someone for that day.
This is the tag and the sappy poem that is on the mouse, to give them the instructions.
These next printables are for each of the days before Christmas, (24!)
Hopefully my grand kids will get some idea of service this month.
If you are looking for a book to help you get more ideas on getting more organized for the month of December try "Christine's Christmas Countdown"
by Christine Ida Harrington
Which is the ultimate Christmas planning guide for busy Mums.
It has some great advice and I think you can find it on Amazon.
Have a merry 1st day of the start of a busy month!
