Projects for the week

I had a couple of special orders this week and I want to share!  The first was for a kindle bag for a 12 year old girl.  She wanted it bright and colorful so I chose the lavender and navy blue.

I added a strapand some flowers with polka dot buttons.

The leaves are made from felted wool and they are sewn on with my sewing machine. I forgot to show the detail in the bag, (sorry it has already been shipped and is gone, just try to imagine it.) but the inside was made from a striped fabric and had a pocket to hold any small items.

I layered the flowers and added the cute polka dot button.

You can kind of see the sewing on the leaves now.

I hope she likes it and enjoys reading with her new kindle bag.

I then made these little button loafers for a cute little baby boy.

Trimmed them in white and added a white button.
I was glad to get them in the mail for the special occasions!

Hope your week is great!

That kindle bag is awesome! I'm inspired. I just got my husband a kindle for Christmas... maybe I should make him a carrier. I'll have to brainstorm about how to make it more manly, though. :D

That bag is super sassy! The felted details just make it pop. I would be taking that Kindle with me everywhere just to show off that bag.

The Kindle bag is gorgeous...and much more personalized than anything you could find in the store. The recipient is going to love it. Love your blog. I'm your newest follower. I'd love it if you'd follow me back! :)
