More transformations!

I still have some more transformations to show you in the guest room that I am re doing. I had some challenges in this room.  One of them was that I could not change the wall color. You can get a glimpse of the wall in some of these pictures.  This wall was actually done several years ago when my daughter wanted a room in the clouds. A sky blue glaze was applied over white walls and then rubbed off where we wanted to make the clouds. She has loved this room and even though she has moved out she didn't want me to change the wall colors because she said the room makes her so happy when she is in it. So my challenge was to make this room look a little more grown up without changing the color of the walls. ( I am still thinking that maybe I can talk her into changing it a light aqua blue which would look fantastic with all of the white in the room.) But for now it is staying the cloud color. So what kind of pictures do you put in a cloud room?  Well, I had some old windows out in the shed and I have been waiting to figure out what I wanted to do with them. I got them out and cleaned them up and decided that they needed something else in the middle of them. I found a few white crocheted doilies  at a garage sale and thought they would be perfect int he windows.  I used my old trusty mod podge and put in on the back side of the windows. The strokes I used with the brush was a wavy line because I thought that the windows would look great with the wavy old glass look!
Here is the mod podge on the back with the wavy lines.
I had this old horse that I thought would look great on the dresser in the room but the colors just wasn't doing any thing for me. So I got out the spray paint and painted it white!
I think it turned out great and looks so much better white in this room.

Here are some of the finished windows. I ended up doing three of them with the doilies in the center.
I also had an old window in the shed that didn't have any glass in it so I gave it a coat of white paint leaving a little of the wood showing through and then spray painted some wire baskets I had and put them on the frame with tiny nails.
It's coming together and I will soon show you the reveal, I promise!

Love everything you've done so far! PLUS those cloudy painted walls are dreamy. Love the lampshade in the pic, too.
