felting

I visited my friend Inge again and she wanted to teach me how to felt a sheep. I was so excited when I got finished, but now looking at this Shetland sheep, I'm not sure how excited I am.

I'm trying to show the cute little feet on this one.

and trying to show the tail, but it is hard to see.

I think I need to work on it some more.

Now I will show you what she had been working on and I think it turned out fantastic!

Isn't this mouse duo adorable!

She even made her little sleigh from a doll house chair.

Pretty cute! I'm not quite to her level yet.

Here is a picture of a shelf in her home with her cute felted birds.

aren't they cute!
It makes me want to try some more projects :)

Baby sneakers!

I started making a pattern for baby sneakers last February and I could never get them to look just right, so I made quite a few and changed the pattern several times.  I think I finally got it to look like I wanted!

I tried different ways to make the sole, some were too big and some were too small.

but then I got it just right!

I loved the color of these ones.

so cute!

I guess these could be for a baby boy or a baby girl.  I have made some really girly ones but I haven't taken any pictures yet.

Yep, kind of liking them.

I wanted to make a pattern for some smaller ones because the first ones I made were for a size 12 month to 24 months, depending on how big there feet are.

This actually is a different pattern because it had to be so much smaller, but I like how they turned out as well.

won't they be cute on some little baby feet!

It's not Christmas, but my hubby thinks it is.

I know it is a little early to post a hat that would probably be for a season in December, but there is another season coming up soon and it makes my hubby think it's Christmas! He thought this hat was great for the season he is thinking about( but he wouldn't even think of taking a shot at this one, it's too little!) Besides he would never take a shot at one with a red nose. I actually made this hat for a special photographer who loves to shoot babies!  (Okay there is too many puns in this post!)

Getting a little more serious, this is a great photo prop for cute little babes.

I wish I had a real babe to model it, but I'm sure that I'll get one as soon as I deliver this.

This was a fun hat to crochet and works up quite quickly.  I'm thinking I need to make a moose one as well.
(Wouldn't that be cute!)

Gotta love this little Rudolph!

My cute PINK pirate!

After making my first pirate hat, I thought it might be pretty cute to dress it up a little.  So why not PINK! Girls like pirates too!  So, I made this pirate hat to fit this cute little pin pirate. This little girl loves everything PINK! so of course she loved the hat.

She couldn't wait for me to get finished with it so she could wear it.  While I was making it she would try it on with my crochet hook still attached! We then decided we needed a photo shoot.

She was a little shy at first and wasn't sure about the picture taking thing.

I still was able to get some pretty good shots though even though she was a little shy.

Then she warmed up and became a happy pirate.

Love that cute little smile.

She does make a great pink pirate!

Oh, Grandma, you are so funny...

Okay, I'm done.
I was excited though to see how cute a pattern can turn out just by trying some different colors!

Baby Sandals in the Fall?

You are probably wondering why I am posting some baby sandals when it is getting to be colder and fall weather.  Well, I had a request to design this pattern and the lady is from Florida, and it is still flip flop weather there!  In fact I have sold quite a few patterns for summer baby sandals, ( but all of the buyers are from Florida, Australia, and places that it is warm now.)  It's funny because at the first of the summer I was selling mitten patterns and I thought it was odd that someone would want to make mittens when it was starting to get warm. ( the lady was from Australia! then I under stood, it was starting to get cold there!)

After I figured out how to make these, I was so excited because they turned out so dang cute!

So I guess, any time of the year you can make these because they would make such cute gifts.

Would love to see them on come cute little feet!

Yes, it is fall here, but in some places in this big world it is starting to get warm!

Aviator hat

I have been working on this pattern and I need a model! This candle stick isn't quite doing it for me.  I guess I will have to make a trip and find one of my cute little boys to model this hat for me.

It is a quick pattern and was fun to make and I can see it in all kinds of colors but I decided to go with the aviator colors for the first time.

Can't wait to see it on a cute little head!

Yea, the candle stick just doesn't cut it!

I will try and get some better pics with cute little faces!
